Close (Esc)

Concept — 3D visualization of Max/C74 objects grouped into clusters. Each dot is an object; color encodes either its cluster or its domain. Links represent co-occurrences / relationships.

Selection & depth — Click or tap an object to select it. The depth slider reveals neighbors at 1, 2, 3, 4 hops with a saturation gradient. Yellow edges only connect consecutive levels (0–1, 1–2, …) to keep the graph readable.

Labels — Labels sit close to the sphere's edge, get occluded by closer spheres, and prioritize the selected node and shallow depth levels.

Navigation (Desktop):

• Zoom — mouse wheel
• Rotate — left click + drag
• Pan — right click + drag

Navigation (Mobile):

• Zoom — two-finger pinch
• Rotate — one finger + drag
• Pan — two fingers + drag

Modes:

• Detail — dense labels, hulls off, edges off (except selection), depth emphasis ON.
• Hybrid — moderate labels, hulls on, edges off (except selection), depth emphasis ON.
• Structure — few/no labels, hulls on, global edges ON, depth emphasis OFF.
• Auto — switches between the three based on zoom.

Shortcuts:

• 1 / 2 / 3 — Detail / Hybrid / Structure
• ? or H — Toggle help
• E — Toggle global edges
• C — Toggle color mode (cluster / domain)
• P — Toggle side panel
• X — Explode/Collapse clusters
• Alt+Click — Cycle candidates under the pointer
• Esc — Clear selection (also closes help)
• [ / ] — Decrease / increase depth
• / — Focus the search
• Home or 0 — Reset view & zoom to show all clusters

Tip — Keep "empty click" free for orbiting. To clear a selection: press Esc (or use the small "clear" chip at the top when visible).

Mobile tip — On small screens, the side panel is hidden by default. Tap Panel to display details for the selected node.
